Here are a few tutorial videos to demonstrate possible approaches to this instrument. Refer to the ReadMe on github for more in depth writing on this instrument.

a simple start

The above video is a simple approach to musicality. A way to set up a "traditional" playing space.

After loading the script I turned off all of the mutators. Turned ON the LONG TONE mode and picked the 8th HARMONIC. Then playing in the top right corner will feel more like playing a keyboard, as synth envelopes are pretty quick to respond.

Then by playing the ROOT NOTE keys, to change the interval, and picking the 2nd, 4th, 8th, and 16th HARMONICS for different octaves, you have a fairly "traditional" instrument.

In this configuration it is easier to hear the looped material, which will play back unaffected, just the way you put it in. This can be a good time to turn on the MUTATOR rows. I start with a 3rd and 5th in each octave. But setting one at a time to hear what the results are can be a good avenue for exploration. It may also be worth playing with the parameters for REVERSE CHANCE and REST CHANCE. I also find it helpful to turn down the level for MUTATOR 2 (which is the top row/octave above) as it can get a little shrill for my taste.

From here it might be worth switching to PERCUSSIVE mode, which will add a whole other layer of complexity to things, That will be the subject of another video and write up.
